Over more recent years in teaching people,  I have noticed a need with students to create their own landscape quilts.  However, there is often a very natural fear or trepidation in designing a scene from  starting from ‘scratch’.  Then comes additional concerns about  learning how to dye or paint fabrics, or free motion quilting more advanced design aspects such as trees etc…
 
To allievate these aspects and allow people to extend themselves easily into making landscape quilts, I provide a kit that removes all these difficulties… a kit that can be quite easily achieved even by a beginner in quilting..

Each kit comes with its own unique landscape fabric’s, so there’s no need for you to learn how to dye or paint fabrics, they are all provided in the kit along with all the border, binding, backing and wadding fabrics required to complete the entire quilt.

Another aspect of these kits which is totally ‘unique’, is that I have designed and embroidered the necessary items (eg. tree or windmill)  for you.  In your kit,  the item comes to you as a ‘free standing embroidery’ and you simply stitch or glue it on your landscape scene when its finished.
 
As a trained and experienced teacher….you will find my  instructions extremely clear, comprehensive  and so easy to follow.  People often remark…’you even told us exactly when to sit at the sewing machine and what exact settings and requirements we needed before starting the task’.   I consider my instructions are in reality  a ‘self paced learning package’….. as I recognize  that people will most often be at a distance from me in achieving their own kit.   Please, also feel confident in starting your first landscape,  that you can always contact me personally for any further guidance by phone or email.
